Description:

ImageMagick is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the ReadDIBImage function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted image file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the victim's privileges.

Upgrade to the latest version of ImageMagick (6.3.5-9 or later), available from the ImageMagick Web site. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of GraphicsMagick (1.1.11 or later), available from the GraphicsMagick Web site. See References.
