ImageMagick ReadBlobString() function buffer overflow
| imagemagick-readblogstring-bo (36739) |
Description:
ImageMagick is vulnerable to an off-by-one buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the ReadBlobString() function in magick/blob.c. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted image file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the user.
