Description:
SimpNews could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. By sending a specially-crafted request to the dbtables.inc file or any INC file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information.
Platforms Affected:
- Bösch IT, SimpNews prior to 2.42.01
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of SimpNews (2.42.01 or later), available from the SimpNews Web site. See References.
