Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) applet caching security bypass

sun-java-appletcaching-security-bypass (36941) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) could allow a remote attacker to bypass network restrictions, caused by an unspecified vulnerability that exists when applet caching is enabled. By persuading a victim to load a specially-crafted Java applet, a remote attacker could establish a connection to arbitrary hosts and gain unauthorized access to network services that are normally restricted.
