Firebird isc_attach_database() and isc_create_database() buffer overflow

firebird-attach-create-bo (36958) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Firebird is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the isc_attach_database() and isc_create_database() functions. By sending a specially-crafted request using various parameters, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the database to crash.
