Description:
PowerArchiver is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of BlackHole archives. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted BlackHole archive containing an overly long filename, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of PowerArchiver (10.20.21 or later), available from the PowerArchiver Web site. See References.
