Description:
Multiple Computer Associates (CA) BrightStor ARCserve backup products could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the use of multiple insecure methods by the Message Engine RPC service. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security restrictions and perform unauthorized modifications to the file system and system registry, which could allow the attacker to gain complete control over the affected system.
