Multiple CA BrightStor ARCserve backup products Queue.dll LQserver.exe code execution
| ca-brightstor-lqserver-code-execution (37071) |
Description:
Multiple Computer Associates (CA) BrightStor ARCserve backup products could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper handling of RPC requests by Queue.dll for the message queuing service (LQserver.exe). By sending a specially-crafted ONRPC protocol request for operation 0x76, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
