libgssapi ISC BIND Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server GSS-TSIG request denial of service
| libgssapi-bind-suse-gsstsig-dos (37233) |
Description:
libgssapi as used by the ISC BIND "named" daemon in Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an initialization error when handling dns update requests. By sending a specially-crafted GSS-TSIG request, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the daemon to exit and crash the named process.
