Cisco Firewall Services Module (FWSM) MGCP packets denial of service
| cisco-fwsm-mgcp-dos (37257) |
Description:
Cisco Firewall Services Module (FWSM) is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of malformed Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) packets. If the MGCP application layer protocol inspection is enabled, a remote attacker could send specially-crafted MGCP packets to UDP port 2427 to cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service.
