Description:
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and PIX security appliances are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of malformed Transport Layer Security (TLS) packets. By sending a specially-crafted TLS packet, a remote attacker could cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service.
