Description:
Microsoft Windows Vista is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error in the IOCTL dispatch handler of the Speedfan.sys driver. By creating a specially-crafted file to overwrite an arbitrary MSR, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the system.
