Description:
Big Brother could allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information. A vulnerability in the history viewer component (bb-hist.sh) could allow a remote attacker to view portions of arbitrary text files on the server.
Platforms Affected:
- BB4, Big Brother 1.09b
- BB4, Big Brother 1.09c
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Big Brother (1.09d or later), as listed in the BugTraq Mailing List posting dated Mon, 26 Apr 1999 06:49:59 -0400. See References.
