IPSwitch IMail Server IMail Client buffer overflow
| ipswitch-imail-client-bo (38151) |
Description:
IPSwitch IMail Server is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the IMail client. By sending a specially-crafted email message containing multipart MIME data using an overly long boundary parameter, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the server to crash.
