Description:
Apache Geronimo could alllow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by an error in the SQLLoginModule during the authentication process. By logging into the database with a non-existent username, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to the vulnerable system.
Note: The IBM WebSphere Application Server Community Edition is also affected by this vulnerability.
