Description:
The SonicWALL NetExtender NELaunchCtrl ActiveX control is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page that passes an overly long second argument to the AddRouteEntry() method, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim or cause the victim's browser to crash.

- SonicWALL, SonicWALL NeLaunchCtrl ActiveX Control prior to 2.1.0.51
Remedy:
For SonicWALL SSL-VPN 200:
Upgrade to the latest firmware (2.1 or later), available from the SonicWALL, Inc. Web site. See References.
For SSL-VPN 2000 and SSL-VPN 4000:
Upgrade to the latest firmware (2.5 or later), available from the SonicWALL, Inc. Web site. See References.
