Description:

The PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions) library is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error in the processing of "\X?\d" and "\P{L}?\d" patterns in non-UTF-8 mode. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unspecified attack vectors to cause an application linked to the vulnerable library to crash and possibly leak portions of memory.
