Microsoft Sysinternals DebugView privilege escalation

Description:
Microsoft DebugView could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by a design error when loading the Dbgv.sys kernel module which includes an exploitable function. If the DebugView application is started by an administrator, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary code with kernel level privileges.

Upgrade to the latest version of DebugView (4.72 or later), available from the Microsoft Sysinternals Web site. See References.
