Description:
Oracle Database is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the XDB.XDB_PITRIG_PKG.PITRIG_DROPMETADATA procedure, caused by improper bounds checking of the OWNER and NAME arguments. By sending specially-crafted arguments to the vulnerable procedure, a remote authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the database account.
