Description:

Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper filtering of certain Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) when running on Microsoft Windows systems with Internet Explorer 7 installed. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page that calls one of the vulnerable protocol handlers, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands on the system.
