Description:

Mozilla Firefox could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper filtering of the mailto: Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) when running on Microsoft Windows systems with Thunderbird installed. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page that calls the vulnerable protocol handler, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands on the system.
