BtiTracker shoutbox security bypass

Description:
BtiTracker could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the improper checking of user credentials by the shoutbox. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security restrictions and post random shoutbox entries without having any valid user credentials.
Platforms Affected:
- MKPortal, BtiTracker 1.4.4 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of BtiTracker (1.4.5 or later), available from the SourceForge.net: Files. See References.
