Apple Mac OS X CoreFoundation directory hierarchy buffer overflow

Description:
Apple Mac OS X is vulnerable to an off-by-one buffer overflow in the CoreFoundation component, caused by improper bounds checking of directory hierarchies. By persuading a victim to read a specially-crafted directory hierarchy, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and cause the application to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
