Apple Mac OS X NFS component AUTH_UNIX RPC code execution
| macosx-nfs-authunix-code-execution (38477) |
Description:
The Apple Mac OS X NFS component could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a double-free memory corruption vulnerability that can occur when handling AUTH_UNIX RPC packets. By sending specially-crafted AUTH_UNIX RPC packets to a vulnerable system, a remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the system to crash.
