IBM Director CIM Server connection handling denial of service
| ibm-director-cim-dos (38583) |
Description:
IBM Director is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper handling of multiple inactive connections by the CIM Server. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending multiple connection requests to the server without sending a specific client response, allowing the attacker to consume all available CPU resources eventually causing the server to crash.
