Lhaplus LZH archive buffer overflow
|lhaplus-lzh-bo (38624)||High Risk|
Lhaplus is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of LZH archives. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted LZH archive, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
Upgrade to the latest version of Lhaplus (1.56 or later), available from the Lhaplus Web page. See References.
