Description:

Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Server is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by multiple integer overflow errors in the Backup Exec Job Engine service (bengine.exe). By sending a specially-crafted packet to TCP port 5633, a remote attacker could cause the service to enter into an infinite loop and consume an overly large amount of CPU resources and all available memory, resulting in a denial of service.
