Microsoft DirectX DirectShow WAV and AVI code execution

Description:
Microsoft DirectShow, which is part of Microsoft DirectX, could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper parsing of WAV and AVI files. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted WAV or AVI file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim.
