Description:

The Microsoft Windows Vista kernel could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper validation of legacy reply paths by the Windows Advanced Local Procedure Call (ALPC). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by executing a specially-crafted application to gain complete control over the vulnerable system.
