Description:

Ruby-GNOME2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a format string vulnerability in the mdiag_initialize() function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted message parameter to the Gtk::MessageDialog.new() function using unspecified attack vectors, which would allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause the application to crash.
