FreeBSD kernel sys_dev_random information disclosure
| freebsd-sysdevrandom-information-disclosure (38764) |
Description:
The FreeBSD kernel could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a vulnerability in the sys_dev_random module. The random(4) and urandom(4) devices replay random data from previous reads. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain fragments of values previously generated and other sensitive information.
