e2fsprogs libext2fs unspecified integer overflow
| e2fsprogs-libext2fs-integer-overflow (38903) |
Description:
The e2fsprogs libext2fs library is vulnerable to an unspecified integer overflow while loading images. By passing specially-crafted data to an application linked to the vulnerable library, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and cause the application to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the application.
