Samba send_mailslot function buffer overflow

samba-sendmailslot-bo (38965) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Samba is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the send_mailslot function. If the domain logons option is enabled, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted GETDC mailslot request, to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
