MySQL federated engine denial of service
| mysql-federated-engine-dos (38990) |
Description:
MySQL is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of responses with a small number of columns by the federated engine when it is performing a SHOW TABLE STATUS query. A remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a response without the minimum number of columns to cause the federated handler and the daemon to crash.
