Novell GroupWise client SRC buffer overflow

Description:
Novell GroupWise client is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper parsing of the SRC parameter. By sending a specially-crafted email within an IMG tag and persuading a victim either to reply or forward the message, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- Novell, GroupWise 6.5.6 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Novell GroupWise Client (6.5.7 or later), available from the Novell GroupWise Web site. See References.
