Description:

WebGUI could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the improper restricting of access for valid users. A remote authenticated attacker with admin credentials could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security restrictions and create admin users with administrative privileges on the vulnerable system.

  • Plain Black, WebGUI 7.4.0 - 7.4.17

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of WebGUI (7.4.18 or later), available from the Plain Black Web site. See References.
