Description:
Apple Mac OS X is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in Desktop Services. By persuading a victim to open a directory containing a specially-crafted .DS_Store file using Finder, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
