Description:
Apple Mac OS X is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the mount_smbfs and smbutil applications. By parsing command line arguments, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
