Description:
Bitflu could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the improper handling of .torrent files in the StorageFarabDb module. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to add new files or modify existing files outside the directory.
Platforms Affected:
- Adrian Ulrich, Bitflu prior to 0.42
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Bitflu (0.42 or later), available from the Bitflu Web site. See References.
