eTicket name and subject cross-site scripting

Description:
eTicket is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input when opening a ticket. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the name and subject parameters to inject malicious script into a Web page which would be executed in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once a ticket is viewed. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Upgrade to the latest version of eTicket (v1.5.6 RC4 or later), available from the Sourceforge Web site. See References.
