| freebsd-ptsname-information-disclosure (39667) |
Description:
The FreeBSD kernel could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the improper verification of a valid pty before the extraction of characters by the ptsname() function. By executing pt_chown, a local attacker with read access could exploit this vulnerability to obtain and modify ownership of a restricted pty.
