TIBCO SmartSockets RTserver loop bounds code execution
| tibco-rtserver-loop-code-execution (39708) |
Description:
TIBCO SmartSockets could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper validation by the RTserver component when handling requests. By sending a specially-crafted request containing malicious loop bounds, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with SYSTEM privileges or cause a denial of service.
Note: This vulnerability also affects TIBCO RTworks and TIBCO Enterprise Message Service.
