X.Org X11 XFree86-Misc extension code execution
| xorg-xfree86misc-code-execution (39766) |
Description:
X.Org X11 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an array index error in the XFree86-Misc extension. If the X server is configured for TCP connections, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted PassMessage request and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
