FootPrints transcriptFile and LOADFILE command execution
| footprints-transcriptfile-command-execution (39810) |
Description:
Numara FootPrints could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the open() function in the /MRcgi/MRchat.pl and /MRcgi/MRABLoad2.pl scripts. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted request using a pipe character (|) in the transcriptFile or LOADFILE parameter to inject and execute arbitrary commands on the system.
