SDL_Image GIF file buffer overflow
| sdlimage-gif-bo (39865) |
Description:
SDL_Image is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the LWZReadByte() function in IMG_gif.c. By sending specially-crafted GIF files, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
