Description:
HFS (HTTP File Server) could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by an error when the Send HFS identifier option is enabled. By sending a specially-crafted request to the server, an attacker could obtain the version information.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of HFS (HTTP File Server) (2.2c or later), available from the HFS ~ Http File Server Web page. See References.
