Description:
HFS (HTTP File Server) could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unknown attack vectors to create or modify directories and files on the system.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of HFS (HTTP File Server) (2.2c or later), available from the HFS ~ Http File Server Web page. See References.
