IBM AIX pioout command buffer overflow

Description:
IBM AIX is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. By sending an overly long string to the pioout command, a local attacker with system group membership could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges or cause the server to crash.
Platforms Affected:
