Description:

Firebird is vulnerable to an integer overflow, caused by improper validation by the src/remote/protocol.cpp parser when processing specific tags on the XDR protocol. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unspecified attack vectors to corrupt memory and cause the victim's application to crash or execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable server.
