Description:
IrfanView is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the FlashPix plugin (fpx.dll). By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted FlashPix file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code on the victim's system.
